ON DELETING A VIDEO DUE TO TYPO CORRECTING TYPO & PUTTING VIDEO UP AGAIN
Wonder how many people noticed this
my promotional video marred by a typo
i had to take that shit down immediately
i had to make corrections
in the old version of imovie & upload again
the view counter was returned to zero
yesterday there were 58 or 38 views
not that many unless you imagine
38 people in a darkened room
38 people looking at you while remaining silent
& withholding any sign of judgement

esp if no-one noticed in my haste
i deleted another video that
had no typos still i thought
i had to make corrections
morning a series of corrections
evening an experiment with errors
errors never so grievous they cannot
be amended the next day by pressing
delete making a call visiting the chemist
sometimes i just like to hold backspace
watch the cursor eat up a whole poem

the typo was a missing 2nd ‘I’
in 8 1 A U S T E R I T I E S
a missing ‘I’ ……………. maybe my
unconscious is ‘trying to tell me something’
